Four fixed tiers. Measured facts stay separate from advice. Parts and repairs are quoted after evidence is gathered — not upsold from a warning light.

Four inspection tiers

Published prices include GST. Pick the depth of investigation you need — each tier follows pick-this-if · time · in · out · walk-away.

• Visual — $195 — About 1 hour · eyes only · report included. A trained walk of the pool, finishes and plant — photographed and written down. Nothing opened.
• Equipment — $345 — Hands on the plant · calibrate · pressure-test · 25–50 page report. Status of each piece of equipment — not a photo of the box. Common plant visit.
• LiDAR / 3D / topology scan — $695 — Up to about 2 hours · LiDAR + photogrammetry · twin + scan report. Measurable as-built of the pool and immediate surround without the full ground / fence / drainage dossier.
• Complete site survey — $995 — 3–4 hours · 50+ page dossier · 3D twin. Full LiDAR and photogrammetry: topology, drainage, deck, fence, subsidence context and a twin you can open on a computer or phone.

What each tier includes

Visual ($195) in: one hour on site; visual of accessible equipment; pool and spa surface, waterline, coping, visible finishes; existing issues identified without opening the system; photos and a written visual report.

Equipment ($345) in: adjust and calibrate accessible equipment; pressure test of the running system; system optimisation where safe; status of each piece; generated report typically 25–50 pages.

LiDAR / 3D ($695) in: on-site LiDAR and photogrammetric capture; digital twin you can reopen; topology reading of pool and immediate surround; scan-derived clearances, levels and volume context where supported; scan report with confidence-rated findings.

Complete ($995) in: 3–4 hours on site; full LiDAR and photogrammetry; topology, slope, pitch, drainage, deck levels; fence levelling and ground-subsidence context; acoustic leak as required, thermal, pressure test where required; 3D twin; minimum 50-page report.

What each tier is not

• Visual — no calibration or pressure test ($345); no LiDAR or digital twin ($695); no full topology / drainage / fence survey ($995); does not replace structural, electrical, barrier or regulated testing
• Equipment — not eyes-only ($195); no LiDAR or twin ($695); no full topology / drainage / fence survey ($995); not electrical, structural or barrier certification
• LiDAR / 3D — not eyes-only photography ($195); not a full plant calibration visit ($345); not the full ground / fence / drainage engineering survey ($995); imagery does not replace structural, electrical, barrier, pressure or regulated leak testing
• Complete — still not a substitute for every regulated certificate; eyes-only is Visual; plant status only is Equipment; a twin without the full site read is LiDAR / 3D

Process

Evidence first. Quotes second. The booked tier establishes what can be measured on that visit. Repair, adjustment or replacement is decided with the evidence in front of you.

Capture pipeline (Scan and Complete)

Visual and Equipment stay practical and hands-on; Scan and Complete are where the twin and topology depth live.

1. Capture — overlapping photographs and LiDAR on site so surfaces can be reconstructed, not guessed from a single angle
2. Reconstruct — hundreds of views triangulated into millions of measured points aligned to a local datum
3. Mesh & extract — textured mesh, cross-sections, levels and topology readings; measured facts stay separate from advice
4. Confidence-rate — findings graded (high / medium / qualified) with stated limitations so the next trade knows what the evidence can support

Inspection FAQs

• Visual or Equipment? Visual ($195) is eyes-only with photos and a written report — nothing opened. Equipment ($345) calibrates, pressure-tests and records each piece of plant.
• When is LiDAR enough? Use $695 when you need a measurable twin of the pool and immediate surround without the full ground / fence / drainage dossier.
• When is Complete? Use $995 for the full multi-hour site survey — topology, drainage, fence levelling, subsidence context and a 50+ page dossier plus twin.
• Regulated certificates? Imagery and scan exhibits do not replace structural, electrical, barrier-compliance, pressure, leak or other regulated testing.
• Walk-away? Visual: written visual report. Equipment: equipment-status report with measured notes. LiDAR: digital twin plus scan report. Complete: 50+ page dossier plus twin.
